About

The de Picciotto Cancer Cell Observatory in Memory of Wolfgang and Ruth Lesser offers advanced imaging technologies for the in-depth and high-resolution analysis of cancer cells.  Access to state-of-the-art light microscopy techniques and instrumentation allows scientists to investigate and analyze their samples from the single molecule to the whole organism level, enabling them to achieve better understanding of cancer cell heterogeneity. The non-invasive cell imaging microscopy techniques available through the Observatory are fundamental to analyses of sorted cells and tissues being carried out at the MICC’s Kleinman Cancer Cell Sorting Facility.
