Following the success of the previous cancer research workshops for medical doctors, we are planning a fourth workshop for January 29th-30th, 2025.
This workshop is organized by the MICC and is intended to promote cancer research as well as it’s application. The MICC strives to encourage and facilitate possible collaborations (in various scopes) between investigators in the Weizmann Institute of Science and clinicians. The Center also provides financial support for these collaborations through various channels.
As part of this effort the Institute is hosting a workshop for clinicians for the fourth time, in which the attendants will become acquainted with the multidisciplinary cancer research which takes place within the Institute, the technical facilities and abilities available in the Institute and the various options of collaborations that are possible between clinicians and investigators in the Institute. The target audience for this workshop are residents or clinicians who have clinical contact with Oncology patients (e.g. internal medicine, oncology, general surgery, otolaryngology, gynecology, radiology etc.) and are interested in becoming more involved in research.
