The Azrieli Systems Biology Innovative Award
Dear members of the Systems Biology Community at the Weizmann Institute,
We are glad to announce the 7th round of the Innovative Award in systems biology. Teams of 2-3 people (consisting of anyone who is not a PI) from two different labs each are encouraged to form a collaboration and to propose and present a new research project.
Theme
This year's (2022) theme is: Systems Biology from basic to translational research
Process
Each team should prepare an abstract of 200 words and a lecture presentation, describing the proposal.
The abstract and the presentation should consist the following:
1. The biological question, including background
2. How do you plan to study this
3. What are the expected outcomes and significances
Presentations
All proposals should be presented in a 3-minutes oral presentation, in a special hybrid event both frontal in Botnar auditorium, Belfer building & via zoom on February 2nd-3rd between 14:00-16:00.
All proposals will be ranked by all participants and the PIs.

Send your abstracts and presentation on to ruth.towers@weizmann.ac.il.
The title of the email should be “Abstract for the Systems Biology award”.

Oral presentation
Award
An award of $ 5,000-10,000 will be allocated to each selected project.
